Entry for the "Create Democracy" Exhibition at Newcastle's Design Event 2009. I decided to concentrate on the creative freedom that democracy gives you. I chose a resonant Crass quote, as they practiced a "direct action" philosophy, producing sound collages, graphics, albums and films. In the creative freedom offered by democracy they then attempted to subvert the dominant culture with messages promoting feminism, anti-racism, anti-war, and anti-globalization. That's one of the beauties of democracy, even if you hate what it is, you're free from restraint.
