Chandler Coote Architects needed a modern refresh of their identity. Based around the two capitals C's of the Chandler Coote name, the logo marque is created from the linear style of architect's blueprints. Further work coming on a credentials document, studio signage and a brand display typeface. When I can find a bit of spare time!

Worked on whilst at Projector Brand Communications.

A set of postcards for Statex Colour Print in Newcastle. Statex wanted to showcase their quality print, whilst advertising the three arms of the business (print, mailing and management) that make up their full print offering. We interviewed their clients to get direct quotes on each sector and chose a type style that complimented the content of the quotes. Print finish was used to augment the message in a tactile manner and showcase the quality of their work. Precise foiling on a rough stock, velvet flocking and double hit embossing.

Completed whilst working at Projector Brand Communications.

Illustrations for Tayburn's work on the annual report for The Yard. The Yard is a specially built play centre for children with disabilities and learning difficulties. The report itself won the award for "Best Annual Report" at the Scottish Design Awards and won silver at The Fresh Awards for both "Annual Reports & Promotional Brochures" and "Charity" sections. Well done Tayburn! Such a brilliant brochure. Since this I've been commissioned to produce three more illustrations of staff members for further work.

The brief give was to create a book which lied about an island. We were given the Falkland Islands. Rather than lie about the Falklands War, which quite a few people know about, we decided to take another route. The Falklands Fish Industry is the largest part of the economy of the island. Not many people know this, therefore we created an elaborate series of little lies, in the form of an annual report on the industry.

Tyneside Cinema, Identity

An identity developed for the independently run Tyneside Cinema. Based around a cheap 3 colour process to cut costs, but also give it a more indie kinda feel, which I believe echoes the majority of the films which are shown there and the business itself. The logo marque chosen is dynamic and reminiscent of a projection. Illustration would be used throughout to give the feeling of an independent and friendly business. Updates on more posters due soon.
